RE: AoC

Cool little tool thing. I was playing with it and I would probably do a spec like this with the bear shaman.

Problem is that I have no freaking clue what any of the spells do or how useful they are so yeah I really hope they give the ability to respec.

So taking that into account I guess one of us that has a more consistent play time should roll up a healer.

I would say that David (Weyland) should do it but we all know how much he heals other people.

Well Lacey told me if im going to be on another game all the time she wants to be able to play with us as well. SO i think she will be regular. As far as reply to end game. I think there will be a lot more content. Because this is the largest released MMORPG game ever and they will make sure we are happy... lol .... i have faith....

Well, I got my pre-order bonus war-mammoth, however the register page notified me that the Early Access was sold-out --- so I have to wait until the 20th to play.

I totally feel like buying it and seeing if I can play on Iraqi internet, I'd be the ****. Or you could just level me up while I lag behind for 20 minutes.

Hey Iggy!  All the Legacy guys are on the Deathwhisper server.  It is a free-for-all PvP server, but the ganking is easy to avoid smile  See you in Hyboria!

Hey guys. How's AoC going? I was hoping to get a computer this spring, but funding got vetoed in favor of more "practical" uses. At this rate, DDO will level cap at 20 before I'm able to play AoC.

Speaking of D&D, anyone play 4th edition yet? It's the PnP version of an MMO. I wonder if DDO will migrate to it, or if it'll be the baseline for DDO2.

Heya Skip!

I still play AoC when i get time. The response to the game around here seemed luke-warm. Lodur's computer couldnt handle the game and he isnt willing to upgrade his system. Skooter found it too much of a grind, and Food I think has more fun on EQ2...

I havent played "true" D&D in years, afraid i never even bought 2nd edition -- so 4th is way out of my ballpark.

You should tell the ball-n-chain that new computer every two years is "mandatory" smile.gif

Warhammer online comes out in december, supposedly, maybe you can get a christmas present ....

It's not that I have more fun really, it is that since the guild has filled out I have been trying to make myself available for tanking quests and instances.  I really wasn't a fan of the day when the whole guild would log in at 7:25 and log out at 10:35, so I am trying to beef up the guild community by being online.

As for AoC, I do really like it.  I think the combat system is excellent and the choices of classes and races are very interesting.  My only complaint would be that I don't get new/upgraded powers every level which is a nice reward in other games.

As for D&D 4E, I frickin love it.  I have played it twice (on World-Wide Game Day and Free RPG Day), and I have read the PH and browsed the DMG and MM.  I think they have come up with a great system, and although it is still combat-oriented like 3E (which I really didn't like), I think it is a lot more fluid and exciting - giving you way more tactical options then just "I swing".

We started up a game down here on Free RPG day (I got my "murder at Miskatonic" booklet), and we are continuing it bi-weekly. Casters are finally useful at low level, in other words, no more "I cast magic missile. Well, since I'm done for the day, I'll just head back to the Inn and get drunk." The major change is that the power to level is evenly scaled across classes. I am however currently protesting the removal of the LE alignment by playing a LE Paladin. Ha! no more losing Paladin status! suck it bitches!! Although actually the world we are in is pretty ****ed up, so all the NPCs I've killed have been completely justified (and preemptive). And since there was no Judge or Jury, I was just tidying up.

The new company I work for has product innovation competitions. The current competition (Jan-Jun) got extended to Sep. I'm guessing there was a lack of competition. Since prizes are 14k, 5k, and 1k I might be able to get an upgraded computer in time for Warhammer.

Yeah man, right now it's summer fun for me. I have to enjoy it while it lasts so right now I will probably only be logging in for raids but once Sept hits, back to being an addict again. Gonne miss RE2 but I will catch up later. smile

Just so you know futer. Not trying to bail out on your goal. I would like to log in more often to do other ****.

I don't think you are bailing out on anything...and I don't expect people to log in during non-raid times if they can't or even don't feel like it (12 hours a week online is already a lot to ask of people).  I am just saying that if there are 5 or 6 people that are on all the time (for whatever reason) if they don't have a tank then they are LFG...so I am just trying to make myself available when I can for those situations :)
